Zhang Zheng, Director of Corporate Management at Ming Yang Smart Energy Group, shared the company's transformation journey from a "siloed system" to a "digital brain." Relying on SAP, Ming Yang has built a digital system with SAP ERP at its core, covering the entire wind power lifecycle. Zhang also emphasized the importance of data governance and unified metrics, noting that "digitalization isn't about piling up technology, but rather the restructuring of business and management."
Chen Jingqiu, head of Changqing Group's Information Center, shared his company's digitalization practices during its transformation from manufacturing to new energy. He emphasized that selecting the right people is key to project success. Information technology projects rely on the internal team's understanding of the business, leveraging their own control over the business and collaborating with the other party to manage risk. Furthermore, they must rapidly respond to user needs and continuously optimize the system's practicality.
Topic Sharing: Digital Future from an Expert Perspective
Sun Chuntao, senior solution architect at SAP China, spoke on the topic of "Digital Strategies for Specialized and Innovative Enterprises in the Cloud + AI Era", pointing out that the fundamental reason why it is difficult for enterprises to establish projects lies in the cognitive gap between business and IT. He also proposed the "1234 Demand Research Method", emphasizing the importance of senior management participation, segmented planning, and business focus, and suggested that enterprises advance in stages and prioritize solving core business pain points.
Xu Min, a pre-sales consultant for the SAP BDC Business Data Cloud Platform, introduced SAP's next-generation Business Data Cloud architecture, which enables real-time analytics and AI readiness through "data products." He pointed out that the traditional data warehouse model can no longer support real-time analytics and AI applications. Enterprises should build predictive analytics capabilities based on real-time, reliable data, achieving a shift from "hindsight" to "pre-emptive prediction."
Wang Jianliang, Executive President of Decision, pointed out that companies going global are now gradually moving from traditional export trade to global operations, facing five major pain points: numerous risks, difficulty integrating, lack of control, poor resilience, and unclear visibility. To further enhance corporate competitiveness, they need to systematically build a global management and control system encompassing strategic compliance, marketing promotion, capital operations, and digital operations to achieve the transition from "going global" to "integrating in."
Liu Yutao, senior human resources solution architect at SAP, demonstrated how SAP HR empowers global talent management through AI, enabling global talent recruitment, expatriate management, compliance training, and AI-driven employee services. He also demonstrated the application of AI assistants in multilingual support, policy interpretation, and salary analysis, improving HR operational efficiency and employee experience.
